Congratulations to Grade 8 Students Alexys Eagan, Zoe Marinus and Fischer Hudson!!

The Grade 8 Social Studies class entered a contest on The Past, Present and Future of Alberta's Farming. The students were to write a 500-800 word essay on their thoughts and understanding of Alberta's Agriculture.

Alexys Eagan, Zoe Marinus and Fischer Hudson won the Lieutenant Governor of Alberta's Agriculture Essay Contest from Fox Creek School!! They will receive an excursion on the historic Alberta Railway June 2018.

Her Honor, the Lieutenant Governor will welcome Alexys, Zoe and Fischer, as well as other recipients on the Alberta Prairie Railroad excursion that departs from Stettler, Alberta at 2:30 PM  on June 30th, 2018. This five hour excursion will highlight the amazing Rod Miller collection of hand-tools, one of the largest and best of its kind in North America. They will also be able to spend time in the tool museum building south-west of the Big Valley station. This trip will also include a buffet style Alberta roast beef meal and on board entertainment!

Again, Congratulations to Alexys, Zoe and Fischer! We are very proud of them!
