The School Library, or Learning Commons, is a space shared with the Fox Creek Municipal Library, making for a larger combined collection available for our students.  Elementary students spend one class each week in the library reading and exchanging books.  We look forward to our author visits.

As in most public libraries in Alberta, you can borrow books from other libraries and access many on-line resources from the library computers or from your own electronic device.

The library, or learning commons, has ten new laptops available for our students’ and public use as well as space for writing exams and completing assignments.  You can print, make photo copies and send faxes for a small fee.

The library participates in several community events each year; Community Night in September, Festival of Trees in November and Family Games Night (always a big hit) in March.

We have a Family Lego Club with 2 sessions each year, and sponsor a Children’s Christmas Craft Workshop for students in Grade 2 – 5.  Each January we have Family Literacy activities and contests and throughout the year we have a variety of exhibits from the Alberta Foundation for the Arts and local groups.

Come in and check out the library, membership to community members is free.  With school and public library staff, we will do our best to assist you with your library needs.
