Eureka!!

February 12 and 13 grade 7 students were able to work with the John Howard Society of Grande Prairie in a program called Eureka! Students helped build self- confidence, understanding, respecting others and self, This program encourages students to look at both sides of the situation and brings empathy and understanding forward to discuss. Random Acts of kindness and acceptance of all people was an important topic of discussion the last two days.

Students were able to compete, play cooperative games, discuss, dramatize and understand many scenarios of how to respect and accept others.

Fox Creek School and the grade 7 class would like to thank Catherine and the John Howard Society for giving us a wonderful opportunity to partner with them in this fantastic two day program!
