Third Annual Business Showcase Career Fair
On Thursday March 12th Fox Creek School and the Business Support Network hosted the "Third Annual Business Showcase Career Fair" for Junior and Senior High students and the general public. The event was help at Greenview Regional Multiplex from 12:30-6:30 PM. Pembina also provided a free community BBQ for everyone. As students participated in this event, they were to complete a "passport" which entered them into a prize draw. The grand prize was one of two Apple watches!
The Career Fair provided students with booths with community partners and post-secondary institutions targeting a wide variety of interest areas in both employment opportunities and career paths.
The winners of the Apple watches were Grace Christie (Grade 10) and Tavin Schempp (Grade 8).
