Electric Car Garage
During the coldest weeks of February, the Grade 5 class was having fun with the Electric Car Garage project, a TELUS World of Science virtual program. Each student received a kit containing all the components to build their own working electrical car! TELUS World of Science provided video instructions on how to assemble their cars. In the Grade 5 Science curriculum, students are assessed on designing and constructing vehicles or other devices that use a battery-powered electric motor to produce motion. Their knowledge of circuits and switches were put to the test by participating in this hands-on activity.
We would like to thank Chevron for sponsoring this incredible activity for the entire Grade 5 class.
