TeamUP Science Event

Canada-wide, accessible, online, 4 weekend long event open to participants of all ages! Participants will learn and create their own coding project with the help of University of Alberta students enrolled in the Faculty of Computer Science.

No experience in programming? No worries. There are 2 levels: a beginner level where participants will learn Python to create a game, and an intermediate level, where participants will have the freedom to use Java to create their own graphical user interface.

On November 6, both intermediate and beginner classes will meet up to share their projects with others, meet a diverse range of experienced guest speakers and have a chance to win prizes for their projects! The cost to attend ALL 4 weekends is $15. Bursary options are available.
