Rainbow Trout Release

On June 3, 2022 we released our Rainbow Trout into the Fox Creek Trout Pond. The trout were part of our Library Learning Commons for approximately 6 months. They grew from tiny orange eggs to finger-length fish. With the guidance of the BOW Habitat and the government of Alberta Fish In Schools Program, we tested the water at the Fox Creek Trout Pond and prepared our fish for release. Special thanks to the Grade 5 and 6 students who each helped by releasing a fish! We look forward to applying to participate in this program next school year.
