Elementary Awards

Congratulations to all of our Elementary Award Recipients!

Merv Zadderey Citizenship Award

Teachers from Grades 1-3 will select one student per grade for this award annually based on the following traits as witnessed in Mr. Zadderey’s personality: leadership skills, work ethic, civic-minded, friendliness, motivated, risk-taker.

Sophia Lee Award

Sophia Lee was a wonderful girl. She always had an infectious smile to welcome and encourage those around her. She worked hard putting forth her best effort toward everything that she encountered. Regardless of who you may be, Sophia was always there to accept you for who you were and to include you in her circle of friends. Due to the respect Sophia showed to all, it was returned to her unconditionally.

Sophia was tragically taken from us much too early. However we can continue to honour her by always striving to show the caring and citizenship that Sophia always exemplified.
