Avail the Hockey Hearts Scholarship

Applications into the Academic Counsellor is due June 20. 

The applicants should meet the following requirements:

• Been accepted into a college, university or trade school.
• In need of financial assistance. This to be verified by the school.
• Volunteer time and/or involvement with children, charities or non-profit groups.

Applicants should submit a letter, no less than 150 words, directed to the Hockey Hearts Foundation board. The letter should outline the following;

• Their aspirations for the future
• The degree/certificate they are pursuing
• Their role and duties through their volunteerism. How their time has impacted the group they volunteer for
• How this scholarship will impact their financial situation
• Interests and hobbies
• Any important facts about themselves that would impact our decision on the choosing successful applicant

The applicants should also submit two reference letters from teachers, friends, employers, etc.
