Contribution to Industrial Education Program

Source Energy Services has made a financial contribution towards the purchase of a new jointer for the Industrial Education program.  

Before use, every piece of wood used to make a project goes through a jointer first to ensure square corners and a strong final product.  In addition, we sometimes reuse and recycle wood, or use rough lumber.  This is done for environmental, economic, and aesthetic reasons.  A jointer is so important to most any woodshop that experts often recommend one as the first power tool to invest in for a new or growing shop...which is probably why our current jointer seems to be as old as our building!
