Steven Harding Memorial Scholarship deadline on June 15th.
The winner shall have displayed the following:
Participation in extracurricular activities
Community involvement
A History of volunteerism
A positive attitude
Displayed enthusiasm to work, school and their peers
Steven Harding was the 2008 valedictorian whose future was cut tragically short in a car accident that same year. A scholarship fund was created by his family with all of the awards that Steven had earned that year. A $500 award is given on an annual basis to a graduating student going on to post-secondary in the year following graduation who displays many of the traits that Steven displayed.
The letter of application is to be sent to Fox Creek School via Canada Post, drop off, or email by June 15 and will contain a description of why the applicant should receive the award based upon the stated criteria.
